Producers can even filter faces by age, gender, and appearance, from the “friendly neighbor” look to a glamorous supermodel. The demand is exploding. In just the first three months of the year, more than 95% of China’s 128,000 microdramas used AI. Using real human faces helps AI characters look more natural instead of producing the same generic faces over and over. But there’s a catch.
