Ⓜ️ Meta just revealed its vision for the future of AI and it’s a lot bigger than smarter chatbots In a new manifesto called “The Future Is for Everyone,” Meta argues that superintelligence shouldn’t end up controlled by a handful of companies or governments. Instead, it should be personal. Imagine having an AI that knows how you think, teaches you like a personal professor, helps you build a company, researches problems for you, assists with scientific discoveries and works on your behalf 24/7. Meta believes this could turn a single person into something that looks more like an entire company. One person with a fleet of AI agents could build products, run businesses, conduct research and solve problems that once required huge teams. But Zuckerberg’s biggest argument is about power. Meta doesn’t want a future where one superintelligent AI becomes the gatekeeper of everything. The idea is to have powerful AI distributed across billions of people, with different systems competing and keeping each other in check. And Meta says some of these personal AIs should be completely private, powerful enough to work for you without even Meta being able to see what they know about you. That’s the bet: Instead of one AI controlling the future… Everyone gets their own. Source. @aipost 🏴
