According to reports, the model completed 265 commits, 127 pull requests, and 151 issues during a continuous develop-test-repair-merge cycle. Qwen3.8-Max’s operational cost is cited as 80% lower than GPT-5.6 Sol and 88% below Claude Fable 5 for output, with prices at $2 per million input tokens and $6 per million output tokens. For comparison, GPT-5.6 Sol lists $5/$30 and Claude Fable 5 lists $10/$50 for input/output tokens respectively.
