OpenAI has reportedly bought tens of thousands of Mac minis and Mac Studios for reinforcement learning and computer-use agents while Anthropic is renting Macs through Amazon AWS. Apple hardware is becoming a lot more relevant to AI workloads than we thought entering this year as memory capacity starts to matter more relative to raw GPU performance. @aipost 🏴
